Internship Update: Open Letter

My first review for Open Letter has just recently been published on their website: Open Letter Books with many more to come. I've currently been working on mainly Latin American texts but I have some upcoming Polish Poetry translations to review. Along with these, I'm also translating and thoroughly enjoying this new challenge.

Graduate School Visits

This past month I've been busily visiting graduate schools, specifically for Publishing and English masters. I've narrowed it down to two cities: New York City and Boston and had a great time in each. While exploring New York City with my mom we visited the Met, saw her favorite fashion and fabric stores and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! In Boston, Brendan and I got to spend some quality time with family, visit the Boston Aquarium and walk along the harbor (not to mention lots of Lobster and Guinness!) Overall, I'm still quite torn about the schools I visited but I'll just keep it in the back of my head for these next couple months and we'll see which school and which city just won't leave!

Finger Tattoos

I've been intrigued by finger tattoos recently. I've always wanted a Jane Austen tattoo but didn't want a large one. My last idea would only have looked nice in a larger size because of its detail but I'm starting to like the idea of Jane Austen's signature on the inside of one of my fingers more and more . . .  These are some other finger tattoos that are also really cool!

Room Design 2012-2013

My room mate and I are finally getting our own apartment, instead of simply college dorms and we're over the moon about decorating it and getting it all ready for a wonderful year! Here's my current inspiration! I love the black and white posters with just that pop of Tiffany blue with very simple, chic additions.
