Bath Spring Heat Wave~
It is absolutely beautiful outside with all of the flowers blooming, the streets bustling with people in shorts and sunglasses, and the line around the block at the gelato shop. It all makes me so happy!

Blenheim Palace
Blenheim Palace is the seat of the Dukes of Marlborough, built between 1705 and 1724. It was the birthplace of Winston Churchill and hosts a wonderful Churchill exhibition as well as beautiful grounds and a stately house.

Museum of Natural History and Pitt Rivers Museum
Today we toured the Museum of Natural History and the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford. The Museum of Natural History is full of stuffed animals, fossils and huge skeletons of various exotic animals and dinosaurs! It was visited often by Lewis Carroll and Alice Liddell, with the dodo providing famous inspiration. The Pitt Rivers Museum is a collection of culturally specific historic pieces, like tribal masks, musical instruments and dress. The shrunken heads are featured in the works of Philip Pullman.
Summer fashion inspiration!
La Roux is my summer fashion inspiration: androgyny, bright colors and lots of sunglasses and we already have almost the same hair color!

First Day of Spring!
Oxford brought in the first day of spring with a warm day and the bloom of spring flowers. If only the grass wasn't off limits, I would lay on it all day reading.
